2. Frame & Material System

Woodard uses different construction styles depending on the collection.

• Woven Outdoor Furniture: Many of our Woodard collections combine aluminum framing with woven outdoor material for the appearance of traditional wicker with modern outdoor construction.
• Aluminum Furniture: Collections such as Cane use exposed aluminum construction and clean slatted surfaces for a more architectural look.
• Mixed-Material Designs: Select collections incorporate decorative table surfaces, glass, or distinctive faux-bois details to create a more specialized aesthetic.

The material system varies by collection, so coordinating within a collection is often the easiest way to create a unified outdoor space.

3. Frame Finish & Weave Options

Woodard offers both Standard and Premium frame finishes on applicable aluminum and metal furniture.

• Standard Finishes: Core finish choices available without a premium-finish upcharge where offered.
• Premium Finishes: Specialty colors and textures available on applicable products for an additional charge.
• Collection-Specific Weaves: Woven colors and finishes are determined by the individual collection rather than being universally interchangeable.

Some collections have especially specific design requirements. For example, Augusta is offered in Aged Teak Weave (ATK) and its coordinating finish only.

4. Premium Cushion & Fabric Options

Woodard offers an extensive outdoor fabric program for cushioned seating.

• Fabric Grades A–G: Fabric pricing varies by grade, with a wide range of colors, textures, and patterns available.
• Custom Fabric Selection: Many cushioned products can be ordered beyond the standard fabric choices shown online.
• COM – Customer’s Own Material: Available on many cushioned products where permitted.
• Replacement Cushions: Replacement cushions are available for many Woodard collections and can be ordered separately.

5. Custom Cushion Details

Woodard also offers finishing details on many upholstered products that allow you to personalize the final appearance.

• Welting: Decorative edge detailing can be specified on applicable cushions.
• Cord or Fringe: Additional decorative treatments are available on select products.
• Fabric Coordination: Multiple seating pieces can be ordered in the same fabric to create a coordinated lounge or dining group.
• Collection Coordination: Sofas, loveseats, lounge chairs, dining pieces, ottomans, tables, and other pieces can often be combined within the same collection.

Availability and upcharges vary by product, so custom cushion details may require confirmation before production.

6. How Your Order Works

Woodard furniture is available in both straightforward configurations and highly customizable designs.

• Standard Configurations: Many products can be ordered using the finish and fabric options displayed directly on the product page.
• Custom Selections: Additional frame finishes, fabric grades, cushion details, and special-order configurations may be available.
• Lead Times: Production timing varies by collection, frame finish, fabric selection, cushion configuration, and current factory or warehouse availability. In-stock configurations may be available sooner, while custom or special-order selections may require additional production time.
• Post-Purchase Confirmation: If your order includes selections that require clarification, our team will contact you before the order is finalized for production.
• Freight Transit: Shipping transit time is additional to production time and varies by destination and carrier scheduling.

7. Care & Maintenance

Woodard furniture is designed for outdoor use, but routine care helps preserve its appearance.

• Aluminum Frames: Clean periodically with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can damage the finish.
• Woven Surfaces: Remove dirt and debris with mild soap and water using a soft cloth or brush.
• Cushions & Fabrics: Follow the cleaning instructions appropriate for the selected outdoor fabric.
• Storage & Covers: Allow furniture and cushions to dry completely before covering or storing them for extended periods.
• Hardware: Periodically inspect furniture and tighten hardware when necessary.
