What is Seaside Casual? Seaside Casual is a family-owned furniture manufacturer based in Rhode Island, USA. Since 1996, they have led the industry in transforming recycled plastic into premium, high-design outdoor furniture that mimics the weight and texture of wood without any of the maintenance.

Why Poly Lumber Matters Seaside uses EnviroWood®, a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) made from recycled plastic bottles and containers. It is permeated with UV-stabilized pigments that run throughout the entire piece, meaning the color won't fade, chip, or peel even in harsh coastal environments.

2. The Frame Color System

Seaside Casual offers one of the most extensive color palettes in the industry, divided into two distinct tiers:

  • Standard Colors: These are high-impact, solid tones like White, Black, Gray, and Navy. They offer a classic, clean look and often feature the fastest production lead times.
  • Premium "Heathered" Colors: For those who want the look of real timber, Seaside’s heathered options (like Heathered Teak, Stone, and Walnut) feature multi-tonal graining that replicates the depth of natural wood.

3. Slat & Top Customization

For many collections, you aren't limited to a single color.

  • Solid Configurations: The entire piece is manufactured in a single color code.
  • Two-Tone Designs: Where applicable, you can specify a different color for the Frame and the Slat/Top. This allows for high-contrast designs (e.g., a Black frame with a Heathered Teak top) that make your patio pop.

  • Precision Manufacturing: Your furniture is precision-cut and hand-assembled at the facility in Rhode Island.

6. Care & Maintenance
